Does Reliance Standard offer direct deposit?
We offer an Reliance Standard asset account (interest bearing checking
account) for beneficiaries. For more information, please contact
Customer Service, (800)351-7500 ext 4149.

What is needed to process my claim?
Fill out the appropriate claim form, proof of loss and physician's
statement (if necessary). For life claims please include a certified
death certificate and a valid beneficiary designation. We will notify
you of any additional information necessary for the processing of your
claim.

What is needed to file for an accidental death claim?
Provide a police report, medical examiners report (including autopsy and
toxicology reports), any relevant newspaper articles and complete
description of circumstances (including witnesses, names and addresses).

Is it necessary to complete two applications for the integrated product (STD
& LTD)?
A single integrated application is all that is required to process both
short-term and long-term disability claims.

Will the same claim examiner adjudicate both claims?
Yes, this eliminates duplication and provides a seamless process.
